The Spa Front Desk Receptionist's responsibilities include the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products, booking all appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed. Additionally, the Front Desk Receptionist assists with transitional cleaning of the spa, spa garden, locker rooms, and relaxation space as needed.

• Open and close the spa and garden each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Book, change, and cancel spa appointments.
• Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the spa.
• Ensure that the check-in, check-out, and payment process is handled following company policy.
• Provide callers and guests with detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, and hours of operation.
• Utilize spa computers to document guest information in electronic record as directed.
• Familiarity with MINDBODY software or similar booking software is a plus.
• Handle guests’ questions and concerns.
• Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters following company policy.
• Respond to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area.
• Must be able to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Ability to perform the duties of the spa runner as needed.
• Assist with training all new front desk staff and personnel as directed by management.

Shift Schedule:
We require two weeknights and one weekend shift. We are hiring either full-time or part-time.

Tuesday - Friday 4pm-9pm (Require two of the 4 days)
Saturday or Sunday 9am-5pm
Full-time Shifts:

Available Shifts:
Tuesday- Friday 10am-3pm
Tuesday - Friday 3pm-9pm
Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm
Position Requirements:
• Must be able to work at least three shifts, including one weeknight shift and one weekend shift.
• Must be knowledgeable in Deep Tissue/Therapeutic work.
• Knowledge of NMT, Trigger Point, or Myofascial Release is a plus.
• Must hold a current NJ Massage license.
• Must have at least 2 years experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide consistent professional massage and bodywork treatments following Alchemy protocols and standards.
• Practice massage modalities only within the scope of study and certifications taken through classes and CEUs.
• Practice necessary precautions while working with clients.
• Keep and maintain a current NJ Massage License.
• Provide clients 30-120 minute massages/body treatments by appointment.
• Take a detailed client history and discuss any health conditions and changes since filling out a client intake form and liability waiver.
• Evaluate clients to determine painful or stressed areas of the body.
• Listen to clients during appointments and adjust techniques as they desire.
• Maintain detailed and accurate SOAP NOTES of clients.

The main responsibility of the spa runner is escorting guests throughout the spa and helping maintain the spa garden amenities. The Spa Runner is also responsible for the general cleanliness of the spa's soaking tubs, spa garden, locker rooms, laundry, and public areas while maintaining a high level of customer service with our clients.
This is the perfect job for a high school or college student. We are looking for someone throughout the school year and summer.
